...actually, you don't since this is my first time doing this, but get excited! Every Monday I will post my personal pick for best and worst dressed. It will be completely random, maybe even a bit old/outdated, but I don't care. I'm bored at work and feel like sifting through celebrity photos. So, without further adue, here we go!
Best Look of the Week:
Kate Winslet at the London premiere of The Holiday.
Although I'm normally not a fan of basic black for fancy occasions like premieres, she really pulls this off stunningly. The light tulle on the sleeve and the mix of fabrics (velvet, leather, and lace) really make it special. And oh, those shoes! Signature Christian Louboutin. Her hair and makeup is also gorgeous, very fresh and like a little porcelain doll, not trying to look like Malibu Barbie. This is quite simply what I love about Kate. She makes her look work for her regardless of trends. Lahv it!
Worst Look of the Week:
Ack! Oh, BritBrit.... I was truthfully hoping for a comeback, but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen. Congrats on the weight loss, your body looks great. But please, please, don't wear these kind of monstrosities... ever. Hot pink does not go well under white, and your red/orange sunglasses don't match, they clash. Please run, don't walk, to your nearest hairstylist and get that mane naturalized with some lowlights, pronto. On second thought, maybe you shouldn't touch it. Looks like the 3 different colors you've had in the past week have taken their toll. Get some deep conditioner and stay in with your children for the next couple of weeks. Maybe then I'll be ready for the old Brit to resurface.... just drop those ciggy's while you're at it.
